sand, stars, tutus and bling

I feel like I need to apologize when I’m slack about posting and commenting on my favorite blogs.  It seems like there are phases where the inspiration and words flow freely, and other days where I get around to it if I can.  Lately, it has been the latter.

Here is a glimpse of what I’ve been doing the last 2 weeks in addition to the normal afternoons spent in the pool and keeping up with the kids’ activities.  I want the kiddos to fondly remember summertime when they look back someday.

exploring nature with the family. What is it about stinky, dead sea creatures that they find so enthralling?

  4. Hi! I stumbled upon your blog via Tatertots and Jello and just wanted to say WAR EAGLE! I'm an Auburn alum, and I love stumbling upon other Tiger fans in blog land.
Oh- and I feel your pain on the recital accessories. It can just about kill you! :)

  7. Did you use a cookie cutter for the watermelon? I love it. I made red, white and blue chocolate covered strawberries for the 4th. I think I need to give the star shaped watermelon a try next year too!
